Remember the peg dollies we made the other day? They’re a great value toy – Dustyfeet plays with them every day. Yesterday, she was finding her play inhibited by the fact that the dollies won’t stand up on their own.
So we decided they needed a bit of support, in the form of a public transport service.
Not a very polished piece of artwork, but I put it together with the glue gun in about ten minutes, which is about as long as Dustyfeet will tolerate me fiddling with bits of cardboard. It’s a tissue box with milk bottle top wheels.
“The wheels on the bus” is Dustyfeet’s favourite song, so we sang “The dollies on the bus go round and round the table”, all afternoon long! She was happy, and so were the dollies.
