Favourite books for two year olds

We don’t have access to a library here in Gulf Town (no taxes, therefore no public services), so our reading is limited to the books we actually own. Dustyfeet has always enjoyed reading, but recently she has been less interested and has shown signs of finding the collection rather boring. There are only so many times you can read “The tiger who came to tea”, much as we love it.

So I asked all my friends with two-year-olds to tell me what their favourite books are, and when we get back to the UK for a break over the summer, we’ll go to the bookshops, armed with the list – we got so many recommendations though that we won’t possibly be able to buy all of them!
