Playdough hedgehogs

Yesterday afternoon one of Dustyfeet’s friends came to play, and we got out the playdough. I had just been reading this post from Pre-School Play, and decided to add some macaroni and spaghetti into the mix.

Dustyfeet wasn’t particularly interested in the macaroni but she knew just what to do with the spaghetti: hedgehog spikes!

We also made faces (using dried beans for eyes, and pasta for nose and mouth) and playdough pizzas decorated with pasta and beans. The hedgehogs were definitely a favourite though, and the girls enjoyed snapping the spaghetti into lots of little pieces, too.
